The equipment may measure things like:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Your respiratory activity<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Heart rate and blood oxygen levels<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Nocturnal movements<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sleep position<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Snoring events<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>After you return the monitoring equipment and an expert reviews your test results, you might be diagnosed with sleep apnea. If the results are inconclusive, you may need to undergo an in-lab sleep test or other diagnostic procedures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What to Expect with an At-Home Sleep Apnea Test<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Sleep apnea test kits should not be complicated to use. You may need to put a sensor around your chest and attach a small oximeter to one of your fingers. If you have trouble figuring out how to use the equipment, call the office that provided it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once everything is set up, you should try to sleep as normal. Usually, one night of monitoring is enough to provide accurate results.
