With more than 15 years of dental experience, Dr. Wallmann is proud to be using her expertise to help patients at GoTo Sleep Center - Scottsdale. One of the things she loves most about her job is working with so many wonderful patients on a daily basis and helping them enjoy life by allowing them to sleep more soundly. Read below to get to know Dr. Wallmann a bit better before your appointment.

Why Did You Decide to Become a Sleep Dentist?

Dr. Wallmann originally earned a degree in statistics. However, she found that she wanted a career that would allow her to interact with people more after spending one summer alone with a computer for a research project. She eventually decided that dentistry was a good match for her, and years later she still stands behind that decision!

Where Did You Study Sleep Dentistry?

Dr. Wallmann originally attended Brigham Young University. When she decided to pursue her dental degree, she went to the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She then went to the Audie L. Murphy VA Medical Center for an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency. Today she belongs to various organizations like the Arizona Dental Association and the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine; she also participates in a number of study clubs.

Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?

Dr. Wallmann lives with her husband Thatcher along with their two dogs, Harry and Weasley. In addition to spending time with them, when she has a chance she also enjoys riding her electric bike, reading, and planning her next Disneyland excursion.
